About VelvetVelvet is an AI-first data platform. We help engineers warehouse and leverage their LLM logs to analyze, optimize, and fine-tune their AI features. We have funding from institutional VCs and are seeking full-time contributors. We’re open to full-time employees, or contractors. See below for more requirements. About this roleAs a founding engineer, you’ll work closely with the founders to meet weekly goals. The ideal candidate is a full-stack engineer who is comfortable navigating a modern tech stack. Our system is built on Next.js (Vercel), Typescript, Node/Deno, Postgres (Supabase), and LLMs (like OpenAI). Preference for people based in NYC / EST, but we’re a remote-first team. Tell us what you need to do good work. The teamEmma and Chris are the founders of Velvet. Emma is a second-time founder and has worked on product teams at Fitbit, theSkimm, and Chicago Ventures. Chris is a software engineer with experience at Pebble, MongoDB, and as the CTO at a variety of high-growth startups. We hire experience engineers as employees or contractors.
