Talent Acquisition Specialist (6-month contract with opportunity to convert to full-time hire)

About the Role

The People Operations team at Attain is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring efforts at our high-growth start-up in the AdTech space. Your main focus will be to partner closely with the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition and internal hiring managers to source top-talent for open roles across multiple departments. You’ll help place new hires in our 4 offices (Chicago, Redwood City, New York City and Denver) and across our remote national & international team.

Most importantly, as a key member of our cross-functional People Operations team, you’ll help shape our employer brand and create exceptional candidate experiences that reflect Attain’s mission and values. With 150% YOY growth, this role is dynamic, fast-paced and (in our opinion) very exciting.

Please note, this is a contract-to-hire position with a specified 6-month duration (through December, 2025). There is the potential to convert to a full-time role, should the opportunity present itself, within a shorter time frame.

Additionally, this role requires talent to currently be based in Chicago, IL. You will work out of our downtown office space on a hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office + 2 days per week from your home). This is an immediate need for our team, so we unfortunately will not be able to discuss the role with candidates who are not based in the Chicagoland area, nor those who would need relocation at a future date. Your Qualifications

  • 4+ years of full-cycle in-house recruiting experience for technology companies or SaaS platforms
  • Comfort in a high volume environment, wearing many hats at once and supporting a wide variety of business functions; offshore recruiting experience is a huge plus
  • Experience directly working with Greenhouse, Google Calendar, Slack and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills

Your Day-to-Day

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles across the organization, with emphasis on technical positions (including but not limited to hiring Software Engineers and Data Scientists)
  • Refresh and implement effective sourcing strategies to build diverse candidate pipelines for both active and future hiring needs
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft compelling job descriptions, and design effective interview processes to assess talent
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate fit and potential
  • Assist hiring managers with interview preparation and provide guidance on best practices
  • Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through offer negotiation and onboarding
  • Maintain accurate data in our ATS (Greenhouse) and track key recruitment metrics
  • Stay current on competitive compensation packages and hiring trends in the tech industry
  • Support inclusive hiring practices and help expand our diverse talent pool
