About the role

The Director, CRM and Lifecycle Marketing will lead strategy and operations for our customer relationship management (CRM) channels (email, SMS, in-app and push). We are a data-driven company, and you’ll manage campaigns from end to end; strategy, conception, testing & optimization, monitoring, reporting & analytics. This role will report directly to our Vice President of Growth within the marketing function, and work broadly across our design and technical teams to ensure our marketing efforts keep our customer at the core of everything we do.

What your day to day will look like

  • Drive strategic initiatives focused on customer onboarding, retention and engagement
  • Partner with internal teams to drive revenue driven initiatives leveraging lifecycle
  • Build segmentation journeys to improve key lifecycle metrics
  • Lead conceptualizing, creating and managing retention and engagement initiatives, via automated and personalized email marketing programs, push notifications, SMS and in-app messaging
  • Manage CRM campaigns from end to end; strategy, testing, briefing and optimizations, building, monitoring, reporting and analysis
  • Create and monitor complex journeys, triggers and automations with static and dynamic content
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, engineering, and data to deliver compelling, new, personalized customer journeys
  • Analyze campaign performance and deliver insights for continuous improvement
  • Help build CRM playbooks and ensure Klover is adopting CRM best practices
  • Own and manage key CRM metrics that directly ties into revenue, retention, conversion and churn improvements

Preferred qualifications

  • 8+ years of CRM marketing experience, preferable with marketing automation systems like Braze and Iterable
  • Vast experience working with Lifecycle Marketing data, combining insights from CLM tool with data from other sources like Mixpanel, Looker and ultimately tying to Revenue
  • Experience in HTML and apps/digital-first brands and implementation frameworks
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading and mentoring teams
  • Experience developing lifecycle marketing strategies, customer segmentations, developing communications and launching campaigns end to end
  • Experience, developing and managing multi-touch, omni-channel integrated experiences via web, Email, SMS, In-app, Push
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies
  • Working in fast-paced environments ideally within a start-up
