About the Role
As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll lead Jawnt’s expansion into your key market. You’ll be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of clients, from prospecting to closing deals. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to shape our go-to-market strategy, raise brand awareness, and help bring transportation access to more people. What You’ll Do:
- Own the full sales cycle: self-sourcing deals, managing target account lists, leading customer discovery and sales calls, negotiating and executing on contracts.
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for your region, including creating sales materials and building connections in a new market.
- Work collaboratively with other sales team members at Jawnt to share insights and best practices.
- Raise awareness of Jawnt through multi-channel outreach, events, and networking.
- Take a research-driven approach to outreach, identifying opportunities and tailoring pitches.
- Serve as the local expert and leader, setting the standard for our presence in the region.
Who You Are:
- Experienced in Sales: 5+ years experience of enterprise sales or partnerships at a high-growth SaaS company
- Proven closer: You have a track record of enterprise sales success and a deep understanding of the buying personas and transportation needs of enterprise organizations. Bonus points for experience in healthcare, higher education, or tech.
- Self-starter: You’re comfortable building a book of business from scratch and thrive in ambiguity.
- Market expert: You know the your region inside and out, from universities to hospitals, tech companies, law firms, property managers, and beyond.
- People-person: Whether you’re attending events or pitching to decision-makers, you’re confident and comfortable getting in front of people.
- Team player: You bring a growth mindset and are excited to collaborate across teams to help build and scale the company.
- Mission-driven: You’re passionate about expanding transportation access and making a meaningful impact.
- Based in New York, Boston, Chicago, or DC; must be willing to travel regardless
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary: $110,000–$125,000
- Commission on closed deals + quarterly bonus for sourcing new opportunities
- Total estimated on-target earnings: $200,000–$225,000/year
