Growth Lead
Crocodile Labs is looking for a growth lead to drive the launch and early stage growth of its innovative new DeFi product. As the first employee in the growth division, you'll enjoy substantial autonomy in building the company's growth and marketing strategy from the ground up. This position will play a key role in determining the success of a new crypto protocol with the potential to reach millions of users.
About the Role
The role is fully remote. Salary will be competitive for experience, and compensation includes significant equity participation. It's open to anyone globally, but candidate will work regularly during US hours. Responsibilities include:
Develop, organize, and manage a marketing campaign around the product launch.
Define, measure, and identify bottlenecks in the user acquisition and retention funnel.
Oversee a substantial marketing budgeting across multiple channels, including display and search advertising, SEO, influencer marketing, email push, and organic social.
Create and commission multimedia content to promote and educate potential users about the product.
Develop and execute a brand awareness strategy.
Work closely with product, engineering, and design as a user advocate to identify ways to improve product-market fit.
Work closely with the community team to understand the customer base better and identify opportunities for new user acquisition.
Requirements
Two years of experience with digital marketing, ideally with some crypto-specific experience.
Experience at a high-growth startup or a demonstrated history of an entrepeurial approach to growth and marketing.
Demonstrated experience of developing a quantitative data-driven approach to marketing and growth strategy.
Ability to independently work with and analyze advertising, user, and engagement data for a B2C product.
High level of proficiency in written English.
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with blockchain, Ethereum, and DeFi
Experience producing digital multimedia content
Comfortable understanding and writing on highly technical subjects.
