Growth & Go-To-Market Intern
Abstract
Growth & Go-To-Market Intern
- Location: Remote
- Working Time: Part-Time (5-20 hours/week, flexible)
- Department: Growth / Go-To-Market
Who Are We?
Our Mission: Make government more accessible to connect and empower. We’re building an AI platform that helps businesses and individuals make sense of messy government and court data so they can act with clarity and confidence.
Why: Corporations, law firms, nonprofits, and government organizations still rely on spreadsheets, alerts, and fragmented tools to understand how public policy impacts them. Abstract exists to modernize that workflow and bring intelligence, speed, and strategy to regulatory decision-making.
Customers: Fortune 500 companies, AM Law 100 global law firms, and government organizations.
Team: Small, ambitious, and execution-oriented. We care deeply about craft, ownership, and building things that actually get used.
Where: Remote-first, with optional access to our teams in New York City and Los Angeles.
The Role
We’re looking for a Growth & Go-To-Market Intern to support our outbound growth efforts and help build a consistent pipeline of qualified leads for our sales team.
This role is highly execution-focused and ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in early-stage SaaS growth, outbound strategy, and sales development. You’ll work closely with our Co-Founder & COO, Matthew Chang, and collaborate with our Head of Client Solutions, Eddy Moon, to design, test, and execute outbound campaigns across LinkedIn and email.
You’ll help us identify the right prospects, craft thoughtful outreach, iterate on messaging, and continuously optimize our outbound motion based on performance. This is not a “watch from the sidelines” internship, you’ll be directly responsible for real pipeline activity and measurable outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Execute outbound outreach campaigns via LinkedIn and email targeting legal, government affairs, and corporate teams
- Research and identify high-quality prospects aligned with Abstract’s ICP
- Write and iterate on personalized outbound messaging with a strong point of view
- Maintain and update lead data in our CRM
- Work with leadership to test new outbound strategies, messaging angles, and growth experiments
- Support ad-hoc growth and go-to-market initiatives as needed
Your Background
We’re less focused on formal credentials and more focused on drive, writing ability, and execution.
Required:
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfort writing professional outbound messages and iterating quickly
- Self-starter mentality with a bias toward action
- Interest in sales, growth, startups, or go-to-market strategy
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Prior experience with outbound, sales, or business development work
- Familiarity with CRMs such as HubSpot
- Experience using outbound tools like Apollo or similar
- Interest in legal tech, govtech, or enterprise SaaS
Compensation
- $25/hour
- Flexible schedule (5–20 hours per week)
- Fully remote with optional in-person collaboration in NYC or LA
